Register with the practice as a new patient
How to register
You can register with us if you live inside our catchment. Our current catchment is shown in blue on the map below. Our current surgery sites are also shown in (red dots). If you would like to register with us online, use the link below and it will take you to a webpage where you can register online. The webpage will ask you for your postcode so we can check you live in our catchment. It will also ask you for some information to help us register you with our services. Once you have submitted your application to register, we will assign you with a surgery near to where you live and allocate you a GP at that surgery site to oversee your care -this will be your named GP. Our surgery sites are listed here. You can also register with us by coming to one of our reception desks and speaking with one of our team.

You will not be refused registration or appointments because you don’t have a proof of address or personal identification at hand
This also applies if you are an asylum seeker, refugee, a homeless patient or an overseas visitor, whether lawfully in the UK or not.

Temporary services
If you are ill while away from home or if you are not registered with a Doctor but need to see one, you can receive emergency treatment from the local GP Practice for 14 days. After 14 days you will need to register as a temporary or permanent patient.
You can be registered as a temporary patient for up to three months. This will allow you to be on the local Practice list and still remain a patient of your permanent GP. After three months you will have to re-register as a temporary patient or permanently register with that Practice.
To register as a temporary patient simply contact the practice you wish to use. Practices do not have to accept you as a temporary patient although they do have an obligation to offer emergency treatment. You cannot register as a temporary patient at a Practice in the town or area where you are already registered.
Your named GP
All Patients registered with the surgery will have been allocated a named accountable GP who will be responsible for your overall care. All of our GPs work in small teams which work out of specific surgery sites. Your named GP is responsible for overseeing your care. Depending on your needs you may be offered appointments with one of the other GPs in your care team or another clinician with skills appropriate to meet your needs, such as Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Pharmacists, Paramedics, Practice Nurses, Social Prescribers and Health Coaches.
If you would like to know who your named GP is, please contact us or ask at reception on your next visit.
